Concentrations

Changing the people who change the world

At the time of application to the Doctor of Ministry program, you will select a concentration. You will begin your program when a new cohort forms and launches for your concentration. The curriculum for your cohort is listed in the program planner under concentration headings. You will follow the schedule of courses for the cohort you join. Cohorts are identified according to the year in which they formed (i.e. "2020 Family Ministry Cohort").

In your program you must take the required 4-credit course module Spiritual and Theological Foundations for Ministry. You also must take the 2-credit DMin Professional Dissertation Seminar, the 2-credit DMin Research Methods Seminar, and do the project for 7 credits. These comprise a total of 15 credits. You have 17 more credits remaining to use in your concentration.

Some participants may wish to audit an additional course above the required credits in an area of concentration to give further development to their project or program experience. Consult with the DMin office if you wish to consider that option by clicking here
